UNION GROVE - Michael R. Silbersack, 93, formerly of Milwaukee, passed away July 12, 2013 at the Union Grove Veterans Nursing Home. He was born June 16, 1920 in Iron River, WI to the late Rudolph and Delia (nee Doucette) Silbersack. Michael was a proud Army Veteran and served during WWII. As a soldier, he drove ammunition trucks and was involved in the “Tiger Incident.” Michael retired from Nodell Cadillac where he did auto body repairs. In his spare time, he enjoyed working with electronics and fixing things. Bowling and golfing were favorite activities of his. Michael is survived by his wife, Marilynn; his children, John (Mary) Silbersack, Lee (Donna) Silbersack, and Marlene Lulling; his grandchildren, Dr. Alisa (Travis) Carlson, Megan Lulling, Michelle Silbersack, Michael Silbersack; his great-grandchildren, Amelia and Avery Carlson. Michael was preceded in death by his previous wives, Myrtle (nee Montgomery) Silbersack, Mildred (nee Lindmeyer) Silbersack; and his parents. Visitation for Michael’s friends and family will be held at Miller-Reesman Funeral Home on Friday, July 26 from 2-4 pm with full Military Honors to begin at 4 pm.
