RACINE - Richard P. Neumann, 82, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Dick was born in Racine on May 21, 1931 to Paul E. and Emma C. (née, Klepel) Neumann. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Dick retired from Western Publishing Company after more than forty years. He was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Dick was very involved with his nephews, enjoying fishing and spending time at his cottage up north. Survivors include his sister, Marilyn Andersen; nephews, Richard (Tammy) Andersen and Mark (Jeannie) Andersen; and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Karrica Andersen, Mark Andersen, Ryan Andersen and Olivia Andersen. Dick is also survived by many cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Norman Andersen. Funeral services for Dick will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2052 Geneva Street, on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
