RACINE - Thomas Allen Johnson, 66, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends on August 30, 2013. Thomas Allen was born to the late Walter and Mary Johnson on January 24, 1947 and lived in Racine most of his life. He was united in marriage to Carol Ruth Worden on March 21, 1990. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2011. Thomas "Ripcage" served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was a devoted member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He had a passion for woodworking and built his projects in his own woodshop. He made anything from flag cases and picture frames to shelves, clocks, cradles and cabinets. Thomas was a caring and kind man with much room in his heart. The memories of Thomas will be kept by his loving family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be at the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at 12:00 PM. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 11:00 AM until the 12:00 PM service time.
