RACINE - On March 22, Jim entered eternal life. He was born with his twin brother, Leonard, on June 20, 1924 to Ida (nee: Thielen) and Adam Dougard. On June 24, 1950 he was united in marriage to his wife of 63 years, Lillian A. Wilhelmi at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Racine. He is currently a member of St. Richard Catholic Church. In November 1942 he enlisted in the Army Air Corps. After 36 years of service, he retired from Dana Corporation in 1986. His family and faith were very important to him. He loved spending time outdoors and building or fixing almost anything for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Leonard, brothers William and Richard and his in-laws John and Helen Wilhelmi. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Lillian; daughters, Carla (Donald) Holm; Cheryl Sanders all of Racine; grandchildren, Eric Holm (Chandler, AZ); Heidi (Robert) Hoey (Racine) and great granddaughters, Emma and Reagan Hoey. Private services will be held. Memorials can be made to St. Richard Catholic Church, St. Catherine's High School, Our Lady of Grace Grade School (St. Edwards) or your .
