RACINE - Cleveland Donell Poole, age 54, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Wheaton Franciscan - All Saints Hospital. He was born in Laurel, MS on September 14, 1959 to the late Willie and Virginia (née: McCarty) Poole. Cleveland was employed as a professional truck driver for BMW Trucking in Bristol until his retirement in 2007. He was united in marriage to Paula (née: Sibley, Jones) Poole on January 18, 1992 - six beautiful children were included in this blessed union. With a profound Christian faith, Cleveland was a faithful member of New Omega Baptist Church where he was currently serving as a Deacon (in-training). Cleve enjoyed fishing, playing cards, dominoes and spending time with his family. Above all, Cleveland loved being a "Granddaddy". He leaves to cherish his precious memories… loving and dedicated wife, Paula Poole; children, LaShunda Poole, Brittany Poole, Yolanda Sibley, Genefer Cannon, Jason Jones and Mark Jones; many other dear relatives and friends - too numerous to mention all by name. A Service of Homegoing will be celebrated on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 11:00 am in New Omega Baptist Church, 5731 Northwestern Avenue. A reception will follow. Viewing will be in the church on Monday from 10-11 am. In accordance with Cleveland's wishes, cremation will follow the services. View complete obituary at funeral home website.
