WATERFORD - Adeline Addie Wosick, 90, formerly of Wauwatosa, passed away peacefully at her residence at Waterford Senior Living, on July 10, 2014. Addie was born May 25, 1924 in Trempealeau County, WI, the daughter of Adolph and Verna (nee Hoeft) Byom. She spent her early life in Galesville where she graduated from Galesville High School in 1942. After graduating she moved to Milwaukee where she met her future husband. On October 12, 1946 she was united in marriage to Raymond Wosick. Following marriage they made their home in Wauwatosa where they raised their family. Ray preceded her in death on December 31, 2002. Addie worked for 25 years at Inland Ryerson as a key punch operator. She was an active member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa for over 50 years. She enjoyed baking, playing cards, reading, and traveling to Florida each winter. She was the dear mother of Cheryl (John) Peacock and Lois (Larry) Berg; dear grandmother of Jeanne (Matt) Hergert, John (Sue) Peacock III, Lance (Mary) Berg, Leah (Matt) Schwechel and great grandmother of Lowell Peacock. She is also survived by her sisters, Vernell Quall and Mary Etta Anderson, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Melva Young and brothers, Elwood Byom and Delmar Byom. The family is suggesting memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association of Wisconsin, 620 S. 76th St., Suite 160, Milwaukee, WI 53214 or Allay Hospice, 13255 W. Bluemound Rd. #100, Brookfield, WI 53005 or Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 12012 W. North Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53226 or Cross Lutheran Church. The family would like to thank the staff at Waterford Senior Living and Allay Hospice for their wonderful care. A Memorial Service for Addie will be held Friday, July 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cross Lutheran Church, 126 Chapel Terrace, Burlington, WI 53105, with Rev. Carolyn Sellers presiding. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM Inurnment will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI at 2:00 PM, July 25, 2014.
