BRIGHTON - passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Aurora Memorial Hospital. She was born January 6, 1941 to David and Eleanor (nee Vogt) Warren in Burlington. She spent her early life in Burlington where she graduated from St. Mary’s High School. On August 8, 1964 Mary was united in marriage to Ernest I. Zinser at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Burlington. Following their marriage they resided in Brighton. She had been employed by Kelly & Richter Law Offices as a legal secretary. Mary was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church; involved with the Christian Mothers and did the books for St. Francis Xavier Church for many years. She also volunteered making meals for Career Industries of Burlington. Mary is survived by her husband, 2 children; Joe Zinser and Tricia Zinser, her siblings; Jayne (Dean) Luke, Sue (Steve) Edge, David Jr. (Linda) Warren, Grace (Jim) Vos and Mick Warren. She is further survived by her in-laws; Helen Heistad, Herman Zinser and Gertrude (Frank) Oaks, many nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws; Dick Schuerman, Arnie Zinser and Oakley Zinser. Memorials for Mary have been suggested to Career Industries of Burlington or St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the neighbors who helped on the farm, the doctors, nurses at Burlington Hospital and Clinic and also to the VNA Hospice nurses for their care and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 28, 2014 at 5:30PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brighton, with Rev. Russel Arnett officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday July 28, 2014 in CHURCH from 2:30PM to 5PM. Memorials for Mary have been suggested to Career Industries of Burlington or St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
