RACINE - Timothy Albert Witke, 59, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center. Timothy was born in Racine, April 9, 1948, son of the late Edmund and Magdalen (nee: Dederich) Witke. Tim was a graduate of St. Catherine's High School "Class of 1966." Furthering his education he received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1986. He was employed by Outboard Marine Corp for many years. Tim was an avid Cubs and Packers fan. He enjoyed fishing here and in Canada. All facets of motor sports intrigued him, planes and trains, and especially his 1976 Corvette. He will be greatly missed by his good friends, Jack Yetter Jr., Lee Sorensen (Jennings), Bob Beck, Tom Howe, Chris Meader, Pat HerBerg, Richard Lawrence and good neighbors, Daisy and Anthony Bonfiglio and Larry Cramer. Tim is survived by many cousins, Cathryn Miller, Kurt and Dean Rommelfanger, Mary Beth Schmidt, Suzette Price, and Colleen Boender. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, from 5 until 6 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Ronald Gramza officiating. Entombment will be held at Holy Cross Garden Mausoleum on Wednesday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the National Kidney Foundation have been suggested.
