RACINE - Frederick E. Yocco, 73, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011, at Wheaton Franciscan - All Saints Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Frederick was born in Racine November 18, 1937, son of the late Ernest and Jennie (nee: Giacinti) Yocco and had been a lifelong resident. On January 29, 1994, he was united in marriage to Debbie McNeish at Christ the King Lutheran Church. He graduated from William Horlick High School "Class of 1955" and from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Degree in Business. Fred was employed with Western Publishing for 38 years, last working as Director of Sales Administration until his retirement in 1998. Fred loved bowling, golfing, and cards - especially Bridge and Cribbage. He was also an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a member of the Pheasants Forever Club. He will be best remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed. Survivors include his wife, Deborah; six children, Karen (Mark 'Ole') Oleson and their daughter, Chelsey, Julie Graceffa and her children, Matthew and Amy, Kenneth Yocco, Peter (Linda Jean) Judicki, Sarah (Daniel) Farrey and their children, Megan and Carter, Katie (Caleb) Ward and their daughter, Adelie; sister, Adeline Wensel; brother, Enzo (Delia) Lucarelli; brother- in-law, Lawrence Hansen; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, Fred was also preceded in death by his sister, Alice Hansen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Avenue, Friday, February 4, 2011, 10 a.m., with Rev. Ronald O. Crewe officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kinzie Avenue. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Thursday evening at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m. and Friday at the church from 9:15 until 9:45 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to the have been suggested. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Michael Mullane and his staff and to Nurse Jennifer and the entire ICU staff at Wheaton Franciscan - All Saints.
