RACINE - Amber Rose Johnson, 20, sadly left this world Friday, August 26, 2011. Amber was born in Kenosha September 22, 1990, daughter of Michael and Kathleen (nee: Brill) Johnson. Amber attended Washington Park High School. She was an avid writer and a talented designer of graphics and collages. A great lover of the arts, music, and Downtown Racine, Amber was active volunteering her time with the Racine Arts Council, the Racine Historical Society, and with the entire Downtown and Sixth Street art community. She especially loved her time spent with her brother, Connor. Amber will be dearly missed by her parents, Michael and Kathy Johnson; and her brother, Connor; her grandparents, Allen and Hazel Johnson of Racine and Kandice Brill of Kenosha; aunts and uncles, Christian (Brenda) Johnson, Carla (Eric) Bergemann, Erik (Vanessa) Johnson, Barry (Monica) Brill, Theresa Brill; great-aunts and great-uncles, Mary Peterson, Bob (Kathy) Buege, Richard Buege, Shirley Maki, Rosemary DuBois; her boyfriend, Jacob Tompsett; cousins, other relatives, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, September 1, 2011, 6 p.m. with Rev. Thomas E. Chryst officiating.
