MILWAUKEE-Patrick J. “Pat” Fortier, 56, passed away on March 2, 2013. Pat was born in Milwaukee on January 7, 1957 the son of Edward and Marion (nee: Kremplewski) Fortier. He served aboard the USS Nimitz in the United States Navy from September of 1975 until his honorable discharge in August of 1978. Pat was employed for almost 15 years, at U.P.S. Oak Creek, most recently as Plant Engineer and was a longtime member of Teamsters Local 344. He enjoyed spending time at Shooters Sport Center, loved fishing on the Wisconsin River, especially with his son Jacob. Pat is survived by his son, Jacob, of Racine, mother, Marion Bowler and her husband, Max McCloud of Las Vegas, NV, former wife and friend, Suzanne M. Fortier of Racine, two brothers, William Fortier of Milwaukee, James (Linda) McMillian of Eau Claire, WI, and one sister, Erin McMillian of Las Vegas. Pat is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by one sister, Marie Potocki on November 8, 1999 and his father, Edward Fortier in March of 2000. Memorial services will be held at Sturino Funeral on Friday March 8, 2013 at 7 p.m. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Pat in a special way may direct memorials to his son, Jacob.
