I can't believe over 40 yrs have passed since I met Nick. I can truly say that he has been one of my closest friends & a wonderful confidant. When I relocated from Milwaukee, back to my family home area, Nick was still in my thoughts, plus we corresponded at holidays & with an occasional phone call. I think the majority of my 'adult
education' occurred at Nick's Coal Bin on Canal Street, as I was only about 18-19 years old when I first met him. Please take comfort with the fact that Nick truly was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest & with satisfaction. I know that like all of us, he had to overcome many of life's adversities, but those things never seemed to cast a pall over his enjoyment and appreciation of everyday life. May your precious memories always allow you to smile when you remember Nick's life. I know that mine will. Please accept my sincerest condolence at this sad & difficult time. Friend always, Nancy Leis

The stories being shared between the Kosalos brothers and sisters in heaven are sure to keep the angels laughing. Nick is undoubtedly telling St. Peter to "button his pants." We'll miss him.

Visiting Uncle Nick was always a highlght of our family trips to Milwaukee when my brothers and I were kids. I know that Nick was a kind and generous father figure to my mother after her father took off. Nick was a tough guy with a heart of gold. I am proud to be in the same family.
