Curry, Wayne I. Age 78, of Osseo/Cudahy, died suddenly on Sunday October 16, 2011 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Osseo Wisconsin. Wayne, the son of Ivan and Alice (Brokke) Curry, was born December 1, 1932 in Osseo. During the Korean War he was a telegrapher in the U.S. Army. Wayne raised his family in Cudahy. Wayne married Marilyn Shefchik on October 5, 1954. She preceded him in death on February 12, 1984. He worked as a switchman for the Milwaukee Road railroad until he retired in 1994 and moved to Osseo. Wayne enjoyed his time with his grandchildren; golfing; and was active with youth sports throughout his life. Wayne is survived by a daughter Wendy (Randy) Piotrowski of Cudahy; three sons, Steven Curry of Cudahy, Tim (Dawn) Curry of Wind Lake and Michael (Karen) Curry of Merton. Wayne is also survived by his seven grandchildren Mitchell, Kristin, Matthew, Brittany, Stephanie, Thomas and Katie. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, October 21, 2011 at Schramka-Nero Funeral Home, 3701 E. Layton Ave., Cudahy, WI. Burial will be held at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Cudahy on Saturday, October 22, 2011 with procession leaving Schramka-Nero Funeral Home at 10:00AM.

Dear Curry famly. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of Mr. Curry. I have such fond, fond memories of Mr. and Mrs. Curry and you children.
