There is an Old Irish Blessing, written long ago by an unknown poet that I meant to give to Larry before he died. But I missed my chance to do so. I gave it to him at the parish vigil. I want to share it here with his family and friends.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm on your face,
and rain fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His
hand.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Larry was my business law teacher at GHS in the mid 70's and left a lasting impression on me and many others. After high school, I got to know a wonderful and really fun person. My deepest sympathy.

Mike & Pat, I am sorry for the loss of your father and my best friend. My memories and achievements with your dad go back a long way and will live forever with me. My life was filled with laughs and joy when we were together, whether we were teaching or socializing. My last visit a few weeks ago allowed me to say good-bye to my buddy.
