Hapka, Fr. Jerome A. SAC In the evening hours of July 30, 2015 our beloved Pallottine confrere, passed away at St. Camillus in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was 89 years old. Fr. Jerry filled many roles during his lifetime as a Pallottine as an associate priest at St. Anthony of Padua and St. Therese Parishes in Milwaukee and at parishes in North Dakota and as a Dean of Students at Queen of Apostles Seminary in Madison, WI. For the majority of his years as a priest he was well-known and beloved by many as the hospital chaplain at Milwaukee County Hospital and Froedtert Hospital and part time chaplain at St. Camillus. Fr. Jerry always seemed to have a broad smile on his face, loved to whistle and made it a point to always bless those with whom he came in contact. May he rest in God's hands. We will miss him. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. His funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday August 4th at 6:00 PM at St. Vincent Pallotti Church - West (76th and Stevenson St. 1 blk south of Bluemound Rd.) with visitation from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Hillmer, Joyce E. (Nee Hofmann ) Passed away peacefully on July 30, 2015, at the age of 81, with her family by her side, after a brief battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her loving husband Bob and her grandson Shawn. Loving mom of Steve (Debbie) and Patti (Vern). Special grammy of Michelle (Dan), James (MiJin) and Jordan. Great-grammy of Anthony and Stella. Further loved by 8 siblings, other relatives and friends. Memorial gathering on Saturday, August 8 from 1 PM until time of Memorial Service at 2 PM at Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church, N84 W16707 Menomonee Ave, Menomonee Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society in Joyce's name would be appreciated.

Hoeffleur, Dr. Norman Albert  
Hoeffleur, Dr. Norman Albert Age 89, left us in peace on Friday, July 24, 2015. Husband of Carol, who left us way to soon in June of 1992. He is survived by his son Greg, granddaughter Nicole, his son Jacques, granddaughter Kathryn, and many other close family and friends. Dr. Hoeffleur grew up in Chicago, IL, lived in Lausanne Switzerland in the fifties, and graduated from Medical school in Chicago in 1964. His medical practice in West Allis, WI was started in 1965. He lived in Orchard Hills, a sub division in West Allis until 1990, and ultimately retired, living in Delafield, WI. He was a member of the AMA and was the president of the Milwaukee District Osteopathic Physicians Association for many years. From his youth Norm loved auto racing, and was a past-president of Corvettes D' Elegance, a Corvette club in Milwaukee. He raced cars from the sixties to 1983 in what's now called GT-1 and S-2000 class all over the mid west, including Wisconsin's Elkhart Lake Road America, and was a member of the SCCA. Norm was also an accomplished jazz pianist. Norm was a driven and successful person that enjoyed many accomplishments, and was always blessed with many wonderful friends. Anybody that knew him experienced an interesting and charming person that had the personality of a stand up comedian. He was a romantic who had an eye for beauty and lived life with a passion. Prends soin de toi. Au revior. At the request of Dr Norman Hoeffleur, no services will be held. He wishes to be remembered as he was known in life.

Hofer, Bertha M. (Nee Rajnicek) Died peacefully July 29, 2015 at age 94. Wife of the late Samuel Hofer. Mother of JoAnne (William) Meyer and Ronald (Kathleen Gray) Hofer. Grandmother of Erik (Debbie) Ihn, Jeffrey (Lisa) Ihn and Andrew (Heidi) Ihn. Great-grandmother of Zachary, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Rachel, Will, Emily and Ethan. Sister of Eleanor May. Aunt of Denise Tuggle and Debbie Ringle. Further survived by additional family, and friends at the Regency of Brookfield. Preceded in death by her sisters, Sister Mary Valerie SSND and Anna Klasen. She was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, Br. 376. Visitation at ST. DOMINIC CATHOLIC CHURCH, 18255 W. Capitol Dr., Brookfield, on Tuesday, August 4 at 10 AM with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow. Memorials appreciated to Myasthenia Gravis Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Horwitz, David Dean  
Horwitz, David Dean Blues photographer, bicyclist, table tennis enthusiast, artist and city planner, left the bonds that bound his body in ways he couldn't accept. Born outside Milwaukee in 1946, he was the adopted son of Heinz Horwitz and Clara Levy. After Clara's death, Heinz married Sylvia Smotkin. David's parents and sister Melissa preceded him in death. He attended Washington High School. David later became a display artist, a job he considered his favorite. He moved to California, and his love of music developed into photographing blues musicians in 1971. David moved to Tucson in 1982. He perfected his photography, specializing in black & white behind-the-scenes photos. He traveled the country developing friendships from California to Arkansas. David received the "Keeping the Blues Alive" Award for photography in 1999. David is survived by his wife Dr. Margaret Drugay, stepdaughters Jennifer Drugay Cook (Bernie) and Andrea Drugay (Dave Janusko), and grandchildren Lucy and Emmett Cook. At his request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, www.afsp.org . Kellogg, Grace G. (Nee O'Dell ) Wauwatosa, formerly of New London, WI age 92 passed gently into the night at Close To Home Senior Living in Wauwatosa, WI on July 28th, 2015. She was a devoted wife and a woman of substance, who strived to better herself through education and work. Her career as a financial director and a credit union manager lead to years of success in the business. Grace paved the way for young women of today. Her husband, children and grandchildren were her passion. Grace is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years Wallace H. (Tim) Kellogg, and siblings Todd, Marie, Josephine, Louise and granddaughter Pippin Kellogg-Roe. She is survived by her children Karen (Tom) Kress, Sparta, WI, Nancy Kellogg, Harwick, Vermont, Steven Kellogg, Mequon, WI, Kristi Funke (Joe Bochurski), Kalispell, Montana, Mary Beth (Michael) Wild Richfield, WI, thirteen grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Grace was born in Appleton, WI to Ambrose O'Dell and Marie (Kathegen) on April 17, 1923. Please join us in a celebration of her life Thursday, August 6, 2015. Visitation from 2:30-4:00 followed by a 4:00 mass at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 5400 Washington Blvd., Milwaukee, WI., with Fr. Larry Chapman officiating. A private family interment will take place at Floral Hill Cemetery New London, WI. Kreil, Virginia A. (Nee Thoman ) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2015, age 81. Preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Kreil Sr., son Curtis A. Kreil, and daughter Sandy Kreil. Loving mother of Donald E. (Dawn Jopek) Kreil Jr., David S. Kreil, and James Kreil. Grandmother of 8, and great-grandmother of 6. Sister of June Krason, John (Karen) Thoman, Sue (Denis) Christopherson, and Michael Thoman. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lange, Rev. Gerald Lee On August 1, 2015 Gerald "Jerry" Lange went home to be with Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior based upon his confession of sin and belief that Jesus Christ as a perfect sacrifice, came to earth to live, to be crucified, to die and to rise again. Jerry is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 46 years Sandy, and their five children; Christine, David (Trish), Angela (Jim) Flaherty, Steven and Andrew and two grandchildren, Lauren and Mitchell Lange. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond. Jerry graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy, Concordia University and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He taught religion classes at Wisconsin Lutheran High School and ESL classes at the Blood Research Institute in Milwaukee. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Good Shepherd's Lutheran Church at 1235 S. 100th Street, West Allis, WI 53214, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by service at 6:00 PM.
