Andrew S. Kubash

Kubash, Andrew S. Born to Eternal Life July 18, 2013, at the age of 98 years. Beloved husband of 70 years of Minnie. Loving father of Andrew, Jr. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Margaret (the late Julius), as well as his most helpful and caring nieces Nancy (Raymond) Toelle, Sally (the late John) Kubash, Louise (Glenn) Peil and Martha (Brian) Robinson and further survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Andy was a retired accountant from Rexnord, where he was employed for over 25 years. He was a member of the greatest generation and an original "Wounded Warrior". He sustained wounds at the Battle of the Bulge during WWII with the US Army 3rd Armored Divsion, for which he received a Purple Heart, that left him completely disabled. Andy never complained and went on to retrain for a new occupation and life. He was a member of the Rexnord retiree's club and a life member of the VFW Knutson Post 2304, DAV Chapter 1 and the American Legion. His favorite past time was fishing, and he never hesitated to share this interest with others. Visitation at the Funeral Home Thursday, July 25, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 noon, followed by a Funeral Services at 12:00 noon. Entombment with Military Honors at Arlington Park Cemetery.
