Captain Chong Sum "Clint" Fong USN Ret.

Fong, Captain Chong Sum, USN Ret. "Clint" Of Shorewood and formerly of Honolulu, HI, age 83, passed away February 16, 2013, at his home. Beloved husband of Dr. Mary Quinn, Clint was the devoted and proud father of their children Patrick and Stephen. Predeceased by six siblings, he is dearly remembered by his sister, Violet Ching (Dr. Donald) of Honolulu. Clint is deeply missed by many friends and his Fong, Quinn and Navy families he loved so much. Captain Fong served 28 years in the US Navy with distinction and was decorated twice with both the Legion of Merit and the Meritorious Service Medal and once with the Navy Commendation Medal. Interment, with full military honors, will take place at 1:30 PM on Friday, March 8 at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Clint's life from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 17 at Brown Deer Golf Pavilion, 7625 N. Range Line Rd. in Milwaukee. Van Buren St., Milwaukee, WI 53202 Special thanks to caregivers Ellen, Ina and Annemarie who enabled Clint to be the boss and set his own agenda.
