Claudine Patsy "Pat" Blasco

Blasco, Claudine Patsy "Pat" Born in Milwaukee on April 27, 1934. After a long bout with lung and bone cancer along with kidney disease, pat succomed on December 11, 2010. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; Alton Gabrilska and Rose Hamer; two brothers and their wives, Robert (Pat) Gabrilska and Ronald (Cathy) Gabrilska; two sisters; Geraldine Gabrilska and Beverly (Wally) Smith; Two grandsons - Erik Paul Blasco and Brian T. Streeter; Her ex-husband Lorenzo Blasco and dear friend Norman Nolte. She is survived by her children, Cindy (David Laurila) Blasco, Rose (Robert) Drafahl, James (Marsha) Blasco, Timothy (Kathy) Blasco. Her grandchildren, Jamie (Philip) Aldenderfer, Zachary (Erin) Blasco, Raymond Blasco, Philip Blasco, Brian Schoenbeck, and Matthew (Ashley Gerlat) Schoenbeck; her great-grandchildren, Destiny, Brianna, and Alex Aldenderfer, Lila and Quinn Blasco, and Felicia Schoenbeck. Pat graduated from Rosendale Union Free Highschool in 1952, retired from HUD in 1996 after many years of service. She enjoyed doing crosswords, making puzzles, and going out to eat with friends and family. Many thanks are given to Pat's best friend of many years, Irma VanHoff "Bunny" for all the time she took to take Pat to her doctor appointments. Thanks are also given to Nira Bradley "Boots" for the times she helped out. Appreciation is given to the nurses at Vince Lomabardi Clinic for the care Pat was given while receiving chemo therapy and to her many doctors. A very special thank you is sent to Odyssey Hospice for looking after Pat, especially the many nurses and cna's who visited throughout her care. Appreciation and many thanks to Pat's assigned nurse, Christine Di Vilio, cna, Brittney Doria, and social worker, Ellen Lycan, who made Pat feel like family with every visit. Special thanks also goes to chaplain Adam Mescher who will be officiating. Memorial service, Tuesday, December 14, 2:00PM at the funeral home. Time of gathering will be from 1:30 PM until the time of service. Pat will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery.
