Earl G. Buehler(1939 - 2014)

Buehler, Earl G. Of Madison, WI died on, February 11, 2014. He was born on March 28, 1939 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Elmer F. and Lorena A. Buehler. He grew up in Port Washington and following his graduation from Port Washington High School in 1957, he attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and graduated in 1961 with a degree in Political Science. He enrolled in the UW Law School and received his JD in 1964. In 1963, while in law school, Earl married his childhood sweetheart Sue Larson of Port Washington and together they raised four sons. Most of Earl's career was spent as an attorney for the State of Wisconsin, in Madison. Earl was a member of many masonic organizations. He joined Lincoln Chapter Order of DeMolay in Port Washington when he was 13. He was a Master Mason in Ozaukee Lodge #17, and a member of Tripoli Shrine in Milwaukee. He received his 33rd degree in 2005. He is survived by his wife, Sue; four sons, Gregg (Kim), Gary, Mark and Steven; two grandchildren, Megan and Alex Buehler; sister, Barbara (Gene) Wengert; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lorena Buehler; step mother, Glady; and in-laws, Judge Charles and Patricia Larson. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 16 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. A Masonic Service will be at 7:00 PM followed by a Rose and Salt service. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 17 at GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5701 Raymond Road, Madison at 11:00 AM with visitation for one hour prior.
