Witczak, George J. Born to Eternal Life Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the age of 89. Survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Carol A. (nee Morency). Number One Dad of Jeffrey J. (beloved daughter-in-law, Yvonne Melendez), John E. (Robert Husslein, Jr.) and the late Thomas G. Grandfather of nine grandchildren and Papa George to 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by his sister Irene (Bill) Clark, brother James (Marlene), sister-in-law Jeanne Morency, sister-in-law June (Eugene) Kopping, nephew David Kopping, sister-in-law Alice (Jack) Willison. Visitation Friday, March 24, 2017 at THE FUNERAL HOME from 5PM to 7:45PM, with vigil service at 8PM. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3100 S. 41st St. at 10AM. Private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. George was a graduate of University of Wisconsin, Madison with a bachelor's degree in Agriculture. He was an entomologist at Pabst Brewing Company for 30 years. He enjoyed retirement for 34 years living life to the fullest with family, spending summers Up North fishing, playing Dart Ball for Blessed Sacrament and staying active in other sports and recreational activities.
