John P. "JP" McDonald(1992 - 2013)

McDonald, John P. "JP" Of Mequon, died Saturday, August 10, 2013. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, February 24, 1992, to John and Jennifer McDonald. JP attended Homestead High School in Mequon, WI. He was a member of the Tennis Team and played the saxophone in the Marching Band. JP also attended the University of Minnesota where he was pursuing a Liberal Arts Degree with minors in Spanish and Psychology. His goal was to become a therapist and help others. JP took pleasure in helping others. He volunteered as a tennis instructor with Special Olympics. He was also a volunteer with Advocates of Ozaukee County. JP was a lifeguard and taught swim lessons to children. He was a generous, kind, loving person who loved music, reading, writing fiction and searching out great restaurants. JP is survived by his parents John and Jennifer and his sister Madeline. He also leaves behind maternal grandparents, Stephen and Barbara Johnson, Hank and Katie Rathke; and his paternal grandparents, John and Laurel McDonald. He is also survived by his Aunt and Uncle, Patrick and Wendy McDonald, Uncle Kirk McDonald, Uncle Patrick Johnson and cousins Breanna McDonald, Patrick McDonald and Rylan Johnson. Funeral Services Friday, August 16, at 7:00 PM, at the FUNERAL HOME. Visitation from 4:00-6:45 PM. Private Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NAMI of Greater Milwaukee.
