Joseph Lee Nesbit

Nesbit, Joseph Lee Passed away at home with his loving wife and their three dogs at his side on June 12, 2013, at the age of 33. Best friend and beloved husband for 8 years of Kristin Nesbit (nee Ottmann). Loving son of Mary and Gerald Nesbit and son-in-law of Ken and Trish Ottmann. Proud grandson of Mrytle Eberhardt. Biological son of Rosie. Further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends. Joe was an Eagle Scout, graduate of LaFollette High School and a 2002 graduate of UW Whitewater with a degree in Social Work. He was an employee of the National Kidney Foundation and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Joe loved spending time with family; cooking, playing golf, was an avid Packer and sports fan, played the drums, piano, guitar and was a fan of the Gufs. Kidney failure took his body but never his spirit. Joe was an inspiration to all, showing that a disability did not slow him down. He touched many lives with his quick wit and love for life. The family would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to MCFI (My Life Services and Access Life Services), DaVita In Home Hemo Dialysis and Dr. S. Sievers. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 21, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 7877 N. Port Washington Road, Glendale followed by a service honoring Joe's life at 5:00 PM. Memorials in Joe's name may be made to the Joseph Nesbit Memorial Fund, c/o of the funeral home or MCFI, 2020 West Wells Street, Milwaukee, 53202.
