Sullivan, Maressa J. Entered Eternal Life surrounded by her loving family on June 6, 2014, after a courageous and relentless fight against cancer. Maressa left us at the young age of 40. Best friend and loving wife of Thomas Patrick Sullivan. Proud and cherished mother of Jack and Nick Sullivan. Beloved daughter of Barbara (Dominic Zappia) Kane. Dear daughter-in-law of Diana and the late Thomas "Sully" Sullivan. Sister-in-law of Cathy (Matthew) Blankenburg, Jim Sullivan, Heather (Mark) Kowieski and Kim Sullivan. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and good friends. Maressa was born with a heart of gold. She was a loving and giving daughter, wife, mother and sister-in-law. She was sweet, kind and never said a negative thing about anyone. She had an amazing sense of humor, and a steel trap memory. More than anything, Maressa loved her two beautiful boys. Jack and Nick not only inherited her big, brown, beautiful eyes, but also her sweetness, kindness and good nature. Maressa was a devoted employee of Fox 6 News for 11 years, and United Way for the last 5. At the United Way, she was able to channel her intelligence, personable nature and compassion into a successful career she loved so much. As a hobby, she was a stunning fashion model, and was as humble as she was beautiful. Maressa was a one of a kind who was taken too soon, and will be missed more than words can describe. Visitation will take place on Friday, June 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feerick Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 14, at 9:00 AM at Three Holy Women, St. Hedwig Church, 1704 N. Humboldt Avenue, Milwaukee followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Mequon. Memorials in Maressa's name may be made to Thomas Sullivan for an education fund set up for Jack and Nick.

Dear Tommy,
Our sincerest sympathy to you and this most difficult time. We are so very sorry and know that Matthew wishes, above all else, that he could have been with you. Forgive us for not attending the mass...would have been there, but were traveling in Europe.
Prayers to you and your family.
