Cunningham, Mel Born April 2, 1931, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, died January 30, 2013 of complications from leukemia in Phoenix Arizona. Mel grew up in Milwaukee and Spring Green/Taliesin (Mom's family, the Weston's, worked for Frank Lloyd Wright). Air Force Korean War vet. Career of 33 years in hospital administration with Samaritan Health Services (Banner). He was a well loved leader who looked out for the staff and most importantly the patients. He fished and golfed around the world. Was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. Mel lived an amazing life sharing his last years with Deborah Bamonte. Survived by his uncle Marcus, brother Milond, 3 children: Lynda, Lisa and Cindy (RJ), grandsons: Weston and Kyle, great-granddaughter: Jovi and his ex-wife: Chris.
