Aide, Milton Francis Age 88, died on Friday, April 1, 2011, at Ruth Hospice, 8300 W. Beloit Rd., in West Allis, WI. He was born September 18, 1922, in Mineral Point, WI, the son of Edward and Mary Ann (nee O'Brien) Aide. He married Hedwig Posch on September 8, 1953, at St. Mary's Church in McHenry, IL. Hattie died March 19, 1994, in Milwaukee. Milton was employed at Evinrude Motors in Milwaukee for 27 years before retiring and he treasured the engraved watch given to him at that time. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward in 1973, Mary Ann in 1970; his wife Hattie; five brothers, Maynard of Dodgeville, Lavern of Madison, Austin of Seattle, WA, Lawrence of Prairie du Sac, and James of Edmund; and sisters-in-law, Nona Aide and Mabel Keck Aide. Milton is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and two sisters-in-law, Janet Aide of Madison and Mabel Rolstad Aide of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by members of his wife's family. Milton enjoyed sports going back to being runner up in the Marbles Championship at his school in 1938 and playing basketball on the high school team. He enjoyed going to Brewers games in Milwaukee and watching them on TV, and watching the Packers on TV. He could be found in his favorite chair with a Coke or Pepsi and some peanuts. Milton was a good pool player and and played weekly at the senior center until his health failed in April of 2010. Services will be held Saturday, April 9, 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 AM until time of service. Burial will be next to his wife at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
