Patricia D. Mielotz

Mielotz, Patricia D. (Née Geckler) Died peacefully on April 28, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore. Loving mother of Toni (Jim) Hanson, Michael (Denise) Mielotz, Deena (Jim) Peters, and Bess (Dean) Malcolm. Doting Nana of Erin (Robert), Salvatore, Angela (William), Margaret, Kelli, Matthew (Whitney), Allison (Chase), Jeana, Jahna (Richard), and Christopher. Nana-Nana of Joseph, Sam, Ryan, Melanie, Naomi, William, Antony and Alex. Pat will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by sisters Florence Bohte, Alice Kevorkian, brother, Robert Geckler, and granddaughter, Amanda. Pat was an unassuming woman who enjoyed all life had to offer. She was an extraordinary mom, nana, nana-nana and aunt. Pat was a treasured friend to many because of her ability to be a thoughtful listener and her skill at bringing humor to situations. In recent years, she became an active volunteer at Three Holy Women Parish, and especially enjoyed the fellowship of her Prayer Shawl Ministry group. Mom will be most remembered for her infectious laugh and beautiful smile. We love you and will miss you, but know you are happily reunited in heaven with Dad, the love of your life. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 11, 11:00 AM, at Three Holy Women Parish, Holy Rosary Church, 2011 N. Oakland Avenue, Milwaukee. In loving memory of Pat, memorials in her name may be made to The Legacy Fund at Three Holy Women, 1716 N. Humboldt Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202, or Ronald McDonald House, 8948 W. Watertown Plank Road, Wauwatosa, WI 53226. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. G. Sala, the staffs of Columbia-St. Mary's, Three Holy Women Parish, VITAS Hospice, and Michelle, for their support, help and care during Mom's last days.
