Philip B. Bowen

Bowen, B. Philip Peacefully Entered Eternal Life, with his family at his side, on November 22, 2012 at the age of 98. Resident of Alexian Village, formerly of Mequon. Beloved husband for 64 years of Charlotte (nee Kosterman). Loving father of John (Meg), Dennis (Susan), Barry (Joy), Mark (Judi), David (Patty) and Brian (Lisa) Bowen. Proud grandfather of Ben and David; Jenny, Jessie and the late Brad; Ruth, Rebecca, Joanna, Katie and Philip; Betsy and Charlie; Sam, Evan, Grace and Audrey. Dear brother of Susan Slowik, the late Mary Noland and the late Anne Wamser. Further survived by other relatives and good friends. Phil's lifetime of commitment to faith and community was exemplified through his leadership roles with the following organizations: Archbishops Fund Appeal, Archdiocesan Holy Name Society, American Cancer Society, United Fund, United Way, Mercy College, Milwaukee Rotary Club, Dominican High School, St. Monica Parish, St. Mary's Hospital, and Alexian Village. A public visitation will be held at the Feerick Funeral Home on Thursday, November 29, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be private at Alexian Village for family and fellow residents of Alexian Village. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery will be private for the family. In loving memory of Philip, memorials may be made to Dominican High School, 120 E. Silver Spring Dr, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217.
