Thomas E. Goss(1924 - 2014)

Goss, Thomas E. Peacefully Entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Resident of Milwaukee Catholic Home, former longtime resident of Whitefish Bay. Best friend and beloved husband for 62 years of Alice (nee Ryan) Goss. Loving father of Tom (Mary), Mary (Ed) Hanrahan, Joe (Isabelle), Mike, Tim, Margaret (Timm) Fields and Pat (Meg) Goss. Proud "Papa" of 19 grandchildren. Further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many good friends. Tom was born in Milwaukee on January 11, 1924. He had served his country with honor and pride in the U.S. Marine Corps as a pilot during WWII and the Korean War. Tom married the love of his life, Alice Ryan on February 2, 1952 and together they raised seven children. He was a longtime attorney with Allis-Chalmers. Tom was a hard working, faith filled man, who always put family first. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Tom will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. The family sends their deepest appreciation to all the loving and caring staff at the Milwaukee Catholic Home and to the staff of VITAS Innovative Hospice of Milwaukee for all of their care and guidance. GOD LOVE YA DAD! Family will greet friends on Saturday, March 8, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Milwaukee Catholic Home, St. Anne's Chapel, 2462 N. Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's honor may be made to the Milwaukee Catholic Home or the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, P.O.
