Virginia Anne Milaeger

Milaeger, Virginia Anne (Nee O'Neal) Age 87 died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 21, 2013. Loving and devoted wife and best friend of almost 67 years to Ralph E. Milaeger. Loving mother or Barbara (Andy) Rampolla, Nancy (Tom Sr.) Montgomery and Richard (Robin) Milaeger. Proud grandmother of Corrie (Kenny) Mosley, Sarah (David) Glass, Jamie, Erin (fiance Brian), Elizabeth, Tommy, Michael (Jennifer) and Jenny. Great-grandmother of Josaphine, Eva, Vivyan, Lorelai, Elijah, Ethan and Olivia. Born in Ames, Iowa on April 6, 1926 to Alfred and Eddie B. O'Neal. Virginia lived in Houma, Louisiana, Washington, D.C. and Arlington, Virginia, later attending George Washington University. She met the love of her life, Ralph, a Navy Lieutenant, in Washington, D.C. After only seeing each other 3 times, they married on June 11, 1946. They lived in Wauwatosa where Virginia was a devoted mother to her three children and enjoyed gardening, reading, golfing and especially boating and fishing with her husband and children. Virginia and Ralph competed in many deep sea fishing tournaments and she was awarded Top Lady Angler 2 years in a row at the Bertram Hatteras Shoot Out in Walkers Cay and Florida's Top Lady Angler. Virginia's family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff, nurses and caregivers at Linden Grove Waukesha and to Home and Hospice Advantage. Memorials to the .
