Reed Schultz Obituary

Schultz, Reed Passed away peacefully September 29, 2012, at home, surrounded by his family, at age of 77. Beloved husband and best friend of Judy (nee MacCudden), of 47 years. Loving dad of Chuck and Jon (Michelle) Schultz. Loving grandpa of Madison and Trent Schultz. Brother of Gloria (the late Mel) Haessig, Earl (Carol) Schultz, Larry (Judy) Schultz. Brother-in-law of the late Ron (Carol) MacCudden, Kate (Al) Ulik, the late Jim (the late Mary) MacCudden, David (Chris) MacCudden, and Susan (Jim) Gruenwald. Reed also leaves behind loved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Reed was a proud retiree of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District where he worked for 27 years, thanks Tom. Reed's passion was biking, especially on the Hank Aaron trail. He also enjoyed nature, playing cards and bocce ball with family and friends, and traveling the United States, particularly the National Parks. Most of all, Reed loved watching his grandkids and being a big part of their lives. A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, October 3, from 2:00-3:30 PM with a Time of Sharing at the funeral home 3:30 PM. A special thank you to Froedert Hospital, the Aurora VNA Home Hospice program, and those family members who assisted in the compassionate care given to Reed at home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Reed's name to the Medical College of Wisconsin Anatomical Gift Registry at 8701 Watertown Plank Road, Milwaukee, WI 53226.
