Dear Maria and Roselle:
I was so surprised and sad to hear at St. Rita's mass on Sunday that your dad had passed away. And then after church was shocked to find out that I had missed his funeral! My heart is heavy, even though it has been awhile since we've run into each other. He was a fun and special man with a great laugh and personality!
My prayers are with you and your family - and I'll be shooting a few up to him too!

Jean and I extend our deepest sympathy to the entire Mussomeli family on the passing of their patriarch. Sal was a terrific man and friend that I met through the Pompeii Men's Club. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Godspeed to you Sal.

It is with tremendous sadness that we found out about Sal's passing. We have so many fond and happy memories of all the years Sal spent as part of out family. He will be eternally missed by all of us who had the extraordinary privilege of knowing him and loving him throughout the years. Sal will forever hold a special place in our hearts! Rest In Peace.

Our deepest sympathy to Sal's family. We would talk on the phone to Sal every once in a while, my husband Mario & I live in San Jose, Calif. His Dad was Peter Mussomeli who had lived in Pittsburgh. He made Mario laugh every time they talked. Sorry we never got to visit one of our regrets. I enjoyed our facebook posts keeping up on how much he loved his family! God Bless you Sal and say hello to our family up in Heaven with you. All our Family in San Jose are sending prayers for you on your journey.Love You!

I can not express how sad I am. Sal was so good to me all the time I was married to Paul Mandella. He will be forever in my heart, as he will be in yours. God must have needed a strong angel so he called Sal home .Rest in peace

I am very sad to hear of Sal's passing. I have many fond memories of Sal throughout the years he was married to my mother (the late Jean Mussomeli). He was always full of life and laughter. The picture posted of Sal is just how I remember him. My condolenses to his family.

Roselle, Marie, Valentina and Sal I am so very sorry for your loss. Sal and I were friends for over 30 years and I will miss his smile, his laugh and our great conversations. We shared so many great memories and such wonderful times together. To Sal: "And I Will Always Love You".

Dear Roselle, Marie, Valentine and Salvatore,
Sal, will be remembered and thought of as one of our dearest treasured friends. We spent many happy hours, trips and adventures with our buddy Sal. We are thankful for the memories and he will be kept in our hearts for the rest of our lives. We shared many fun times with your Dad/Nanu. He was always so proud of his children and grandchildren and all of his family.
