I had the good fortune to know Tim for over 40 years. His great sense of humor, his laughter, and his loving, generous nature lives on in memory. As he used to say as we unpacked boxes at the old Milwaukee Auction Galleries, "This could be somethin'".

What a sad loss this is for us all. Knowing Tim and working for him changed my life forever. I will never forget all the laughter and the show tunes. And the trying on of hats, especially at the sale in Milwaukee in the house that was once owned by the Basilica. So much laughter. And grace. Tim was truly one of the most gentle souls that I've ever had the privilege to know. Blessed be his memory.

My soul is saddened to hear of the loss of this former [Parker '73] music-mate. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Tim's beloved, family and friends. From my faith tradition, Tim: In paradisum deducante Angeli: in tuo adventu suscipiat te Martyres, et perducante in civitatem sancta Jerusalem. Chorus Angelorum te suscipiat, et cum Lazaro quondam paupere aeternam habeas requiem.

So many old friends here....I, too, have known Tim for over 40 years. He shared his gifts of laughter and friendship. He spoke of his family with much love. The love he shared will live on in us: As he used to say when we were unpacking boxes at the old Milwaukee Auction Gallery: "This could be somethin'".

Tim was one of the delightful bright spots in the choir at St. Mark's so many years ago, and a loved friend. Julian and I still have the lovely vintage watercolor he gave us for a wedding present prominently displayed over the piano. And how could I ever forget skipping through Lake Park like a couple of goofy kids, singing parodies of Christmas choir anthems? I will miss that big, hearty laugh, and unquenchable good humor...

It's the laugh loud and inclusive that I will miss the most dear Tim, then there are the hugs, bearlike and sincere and the hot topics of discussion, politics, art and life soothed by perfect Martini's. What a void the circle will know.

Jeff , keep close to friends who are here for you with doors wide open.

What is the antique world going to do with out you Tim. I so enjoyed you and the estate sales big time. We knew each other for 28 years and glad I got to share in your life.

So sad to hear about Tim--a friend from some time ago. He was intelligent, knowledgeable in arts and a genuinely good person. If we came over to possibly buy antiques from him, a bottle of champagne often "greased the wheels"! A real loss, our loving condolences to his partner and other family.

I cannot suppress the desire to rage against the dying of this great light of enormous wattage. Tim would no doubt like it if I quoted something witty and British. Sorry sweetie, I searched for quite some time, but can find nothing in that vein that also speaks to the immense pain of you leaving us all without warning. Edna St. Vincent Millay's "Dirge wthout Music" is what mostly rings a bell.

My memories of times with him are so precious that not even divvy Timothy Kuehne could put a price on them. Tim's laugh will go with me to my own grave. And the earth will never see someone with more talent at giving joie d'vivre to others.

My heart is truly broken. So Jeff, I simply cannot imagine the enormity of your shock and grief; please be good to yourself, you know he would want that. To the Kuehne family: his love for you was evident every time he spoke of you.

We were so very privileged to know, love, and have Tim in our family. We looked forward to spending time with him and Jeff as we knew laughter and vodka would always be involved. Words cannot express our sorrow or the large void left in our hearts and lives. You will forever be in our minds and hearts. We love you Tim. Thank you, Jeff, for sharing his life with us. We love you.
