I'd call, "Ronnie, I'm headed your way." You replied with a soft-spoken "alright." I come in, sit in the chair. "What you gettin' today?" A two word answer and you went zip, zip, zip. We share a few thoughts, some current happenings, laughter, some cold, good smelling stuff placed on my head. You hand a mirror to me. "Put on your glasses so you can see. "Looks good," I say. Pay and gone. We did this for almost 40 years. Irreplaceable touch and skill, gone too soon.

To the Sherrill Family, May God's Blessings be with you all, during your lost. Ronnie, was a very kind man, and the first barber who cut my youngest son Pierre's hair. Ronnie, knew just what to say, to calm a child down, and to take away any fears. My son continued to get his hair cut over many many years. I felt like I had to write to the family today. Your love one is gone, but will forever live on in your hearts. When Ronnie would cut Pierre's hair, he always had encouraging words, to give him. I thank him and I know my son thanks him too. I was blessed to have had Ronnie in my life. He will forever be remembered and loved. Although we were not blood, I will always consider him a father figure whose words of wisdom, love, and support has helped shape me into the person i am today. My prayers go out to Ronnie's family and friends.

I've been going to Ronnie for haircuts for the past 16 years. When I moved to town, a friend suggested that I go to Satin Wave for a haircut. It was the best advice I received. Thank you Ronnie for the great conversation, advice and for being you. You were genuine and a good person. God Bless and I will miss you!

I would like to give my condolences to the Sherrill Family. I have known him most of my life and in 1991 when I graduated cosmetology school. Satin Wave on Burliegh was my first job as a stylist. I worked with him for a little over 3yrs. He was always showing me and teaching me things about life and the job. You will be missed. Your kindness touched my heart and life and I will never forget you.
