Ruth Eckes Obituary

(Nee Ueck) of Wauwatosa, passed away May 8, 2005 at the age of 76 years young. Beloved wife of the late Orin Eckes. Loving mother of Jack (Debra) Eckes, Susan (Victor) Valentino, Sandra (Dennis) Raddeman, Jean (Ron) Evert, Scott (Lori) Eckes, and Anna (Mark) Zeman. Proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grand-children. Preceded in death by her daughter Jayne Eckes, her grand-daughter Tammy, and her brother Arnold Ueck. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service Friday, May 13, at 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Alexandra Guiliano officiating. Visitation Friday from 4:00 PM until time of service at the Funeral Home. Interment Saturday, 11:00 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes (13235 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield). In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association appreciated (660 E. Mason St., Milwaukee, WI 53202).

Ruth was a very active member of the community.

I very much enjoyed the last trip to Reno with Ruth and her friend and bowling partner Millie. I will miss her next year and will think of her during the national tournament in May 2006. If you have connections to the Bowling Gods Ruth, send a little prayer in May 2006 at Nationals!!!
