Ann Elwell Obituary

Elwell, Ann "Annie" (Nee Strizic ) of Hales Corners, was called home to the Lord Saturday December 13, 2014 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Earl Elwell for 64 years. Annie was a long time member of St. Mary's of Hales Corners. Throughout her life Annie enjoyed golf, bowling, cards, reading and her passion was gardening. She also dedicated much of her time at her church and the Ronald McDonald House. Annie retired from Marine Bank after 35 years. She was an angel of God, deeply touching the hearts of family and many dear friends with her loving positive attitude. She was an inspiration for all of us to love and care for each other, she will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated. Visitation at ST. MARY CATHOLIC FAITH COMMUNITY 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Monday, December 22, 10-11:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Safe Journey, Annie! You are a true star amongst the angels. We love you forever! I can hear you saying as you watch over us from above, "Just like downtown, only not as crowded!"

My parents were very close to Annie and Earl. Earl was my mom's favorite cousin. We spent lots of time with them while growing up. I loved her a lot and miss her at our reunions. Rest in peace sweet Annie.

Annie, you have been such a huge part of my life growing up. You and Earl were always mom's favorite cousins and so became mine. You hold a special place in my heart and I am saddened that you have passed without us being aware of your illness. Say hi to Mom and Dad for me and look for me when my time comes. Love you to pieces.

I just read the April 5th St. Mary Bulletin and saw that she will be remembered at a Mass the following week. I didn't know that Annie went on to her heavenly home. I remember the last time we looked into each other's eyes and knew it would be our last. Sybil Grandeck

Thank you Auntie Annie for all you did for my sister and myself over the years. You were the best Aunt all your nieces and nephews could ever have had.

Mother Marine, as you were fondly known by the support people at Marine Bank. One of the nicest and most considerate people I had the pleasure of working with. Your friendship over the years has been a gift to me.
