Will be up to visit you shortly, sorry it took so long! Debra was a great friend with a ready smile and the sarcastic wit the military share. We shared some crazy times laying on the berm outside of KKMC watching bombs fall on the Kuwaiti border.

Debra is our friend still. We know that she is safe and with her mother. When we were together, we enjoyed her smile, laughter and conversation. When we were apart, we missed all of the same. Debra will be missed by many and will be loved by many, always. With love, Debra's friends, Celeste, Jamie and Ariel

Deb was my Warrant Officer mentor before I went ot the Candidate School in the summer of 2000. She helped me tremendously and later became a great friend. I miss her a lot already. I just cannot tell you how sorry I am. I've been thinking of her all week along with friends all over the country. She was just a great and wonderful person.

The loss of a loved one is a double-tragedy: "Unfair" for the individual who has to move on too early and an "unfair" loss for family and friends who will sorely miss them. God bless Debra and all of the Ackerets.
