Krista and family -the "right" words are difficult to find to say, but please know that our hearts, our thoughts, are with you. As many tears as you shed for your "papa" , may you have twice as many wonderful memories to carry you through as you celebrate a life well lived.

My deepest sympathy to your family and friends. This has been a long road for all. He will be missed but not forgotten.

His hair is silver but he has a heart of gold,His stories never went untold. Words of wisdom he always would share, as you sat next to him in a chair. His eyes were so blue, yet his smile could brighten a room. His arms and ears were always open to those in need, never once did you have to beg or plead. His hobbies were many from trains to even scrapping up a penny. Trips around the world he took it was those that he would usually read a good book. He had a strong southern drawl as he typically greeted groups of us with hey y'all. To many he was a mentor and a friend as he always stayed loyal until the end. To myself he was a father a papa and a best friend who showed me how to give a helping hand. When someone would be down he would turn their frown. He fought a good fight as he always kept his friends and loved ones in his sight. Today we can say he was a many who impacted us in many ways.
I love you.
