I have wonderful memories of Ralph. He loved to tell the story to people how CRBC was an answer to his prayers. We used to laugh remembering when we held prayer meeting in his van on one occasion and on a few other nights, huddled around a space heater in the basement of the church at 88th and Cleveland. We shared a love for the Navy Hymn Eternal Father Strong to Save and many sea stories. His were always better than mine.
Eternal Father, strong to save,
Whose arm hath bound the restless wave,
Who bidd'st the mighty ocean deep
Its own appointed limits keep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,
For those in peril on the sea!
I pray the LORD of Glory will comfort you with a comfort that only He can provide.
