Geraldine Jansen Obituary

Jansen, Geraldine "Gerry" Reunited with her husband Harry, daughter Jane Beres and found eternal peace on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the age of 89. Loving mom of Mary (Austin) Dunbar, Jan (Don) Yockey, Jim (Donna), Diane (Jim) Zalewski, Dick (Sue), Jo (Michael) Buschke, the late Jane (Rich) Beres, Mike (Angie) and Dan (Karen). Sister of Nancy Nelson and the late Marge Jankowski. Further survived by her 26 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Lola Jane. Gerry was a Registered Nurse for many years at Milwaukee County General Hospital in the newborn nursery. In 2009, she was nominated and won the "Mother of the Year" award, her family always came first. Visitation Monday, September 25 at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 12700 W. Howard Ave., New Berlin from 4 to 6:45 PM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 7 PM. Private Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery.
