Elmer R. Gasiorowski Notice
Gasiorowski, Elmer R. Age 87, of Brown Deer, WI, entered into the glorious life of eternity to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday September 28, 2013. He was born on November 21, 1925 in Milwaukee, Son of the late Paul and Josephine (nee Hauke) Gasiorowski. He married the love of his life, Vallija (nee Mednis), on November 29, 1952 in Milwaukee after a six month courtship. Loving father of nine children; Claudia (Steven) Boyce, Chris (Michelle), Linda (Kenneth) Vincent, Jane (Michael) Cleveland, Eric, Allan (Shannon), John, James (Lillian), and the late Michael Gasiorowski. Proud Grandpa of Teri (Joe) Mannes, Joe Boyce, Jason, Jeremy (Marisa), Ryan (Kimberlee) Vincent, Kristie (Matthew) Schultz, Patrick Vincent, Carolyn, Sean, Andrew, Elisabeth, Jordan, Alexander, Gabriel, Benjamin, Samuel, Priscilla, and Isabel Gasiorowski. Great-grandpa of Grace Lindoerfer, Nikita Gasiorowski, Alaina and Alexis Mannes, and Jaeden Gasiorowski. Also survived by his aunt, Regina Czarnecki, sister-in-law Peggy Gasiorowski, three nephews David, Martin, and Andrew Gasiorowski, other relatives and friends. Along with his son, Elmer was also preceded in death by his two granddaughters Kimberly Lindoerfer and Ann Gasiorowski, brothers Paul and Robert, sister and brother-in-law Virginia and Thadeus Krolicki, and nephews Paul, John and James Krolicki. Elmer proudly served in The United States Navy during WWII from 1942-1946. He was a lifetime member of the Gross-Yaksh 6498. He retired from Globe Union (Johnson Controls) after 35 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013, at ST. CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRIA CATHOLIC CHURCH (8661 N. 76th Pl., Milwaukee) from 9:00AM-11:00AM with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00AM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee. The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to Jeri and the staff at Cedar Gardens Senior Living Community, in Cedarburg.
