Black, Howard Age 87, of Hartford. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Anna Mae (Lechner) Black. Devoted father of Thomas Black, Mary Lee Rieley, Mark (Mary) Black and Bruce (Tracie) Black. Proud grandfather of Kim (Drew) Eckmeyer, Elizabeth (Kevin) Lauterbach, Jeffrey (Kendra) Reichle, Melissa (Mark) Reichle, Jared (Stacy) Black, Carly (Eric) Shipley, Stephanie Black (fiancé Ryan McElligott), Quentin Black (close friend Leah) and Whitney Black. Adored great-grandfather of Emma Eckmeyer, Oliver Eckmeyer, Gabriel Lauterbach, Grady Lauterbach, Bianka Reichle and Zander Pundsack. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at St. John United Church of Christ, 228 W. State Street, Hartford. Visitation on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home AND on Saturday at the church from 9:00 -10:00 AM. Interment at St. Kilian Cemetery.
