Not sure what to say?

April 20, 2009

Dear Jim, Katie and Jamie: You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Although this is a difficult time, we hope that memories of better days, such as singing in the back yard with family and friends all around, will help to comfort you all now. Take care.

To the family and friends of Jason,
It's been a good 18 years since I last seen Jason, but he is one I'll never forget. He had a smile and a personality that lite up a room. He was always such a nice person to me and could always make me laugh. This message comes with a heavy heart and a saddness for the loss of a truly good guy, I once knew, once apon a time. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, Jason; because I know you are truly missed. Thanks for all those talks years ago, you always were a great listener.
An old Friend,
Kerri Grablewski (Stoltz)

My sympathies go to the Jonas family. Katie and Jamie, I truly wish you the best. I've known Jason for a very long time, and it saddens me to see him go. He was one of the first friends I made when my family first moved to Bay View way back in 1980. Jason, Mike Lucas and I were a pack of wild seven year-olds in those days and we continued that friendship into our twenties. Far too many stories to relay here. Although it might not seem obvious, Jason left a deep mark on my life. A few words that will bring it all back to many of the people that knew him well: Avalon, Confetti's, Seminary Woods, Summerfest, Christmas Day party.
Jason, we'll never forget you. Rest well, my friend.

Jason and I went to Thomas More together and I remember him as the guy with that tough exterior but always so nice. He will be missed.

It has been said that the most brilliant stars shine twice as bright and half as long. This was also true of Jason. I will always remember him as my good friend. Having a friend from childhood remain in your life is a rariety but Jason was a rare person. I'm sure not many people knew him like me and for that I have saddness. If you were fortunate enough to get through his tough exterior, those who knew him, found a caring person that would do anything for you. Unfortunately not many saw this kinder side of Jason. He had a good heart and I will miss him. I hope you have found the peace you did not have in life.

My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. Mr. Jonas, Jamie and Katie I am truly sorry for the loss of your son and brother.

Jim, Katie, James, and all the rest of the Jonas family... The first time I met Jason was at a Jonas/Mullins party. Jason was a little boy at the time and I remember him clinging to his Mom, trying to comprehend the enormous, loud, family he was joining.
Marcia and Jason are together again, and at peace. I'll be thinking of you all on Saturday.

It was so sad to hear about Jason. My thoughts are with the Jonas Family. It might be overwhelming right now, but it does get better. I'll keep his memory (and his laugh and smile) with me always.

Most of us that went to school with Jason will forever remember his great sense of humor (and the big comb in his back pocket). While rugged on the outside, Jason was very kind and polite. Although I've only seen him a handful of times since school Jason always exhibited those same qualities that I remember from our days at TM.

May Jason rest in peace.

Dear Jonas Family:
Our thoughts and prayers join with many others as you mourn the loss of someone so young, so loved. We are so sorry.
No matter what the age or circumstance, it is always difficult to lose someone so precious.
Take comfort in the Truth of God's Promise: "Love Is Stronger Than Death."
May God's tender touch soothe and heal your breaking hearts. May His loving arms surround you and hold you close. May you be assured that Jason rests now in perfect peace in the same loving embrace.

They say we come into each other`s lifes for a reason, and when that lesson or reason is over we leave......
Jason definitely put a huge mark in this world and touched everyone he knew.
I am glad he was here for this short time. I would not change the silliness shared and memories for anything...
He was my friend, and I will miss him.
My deepest condolences to you Katie, and your family-
