I am so sorry to read that John is no longer with us here on Earth. We were close many years ago, and I and our MU classmates mourn his passing along with those who continued to share his life with him. So terribly sorry, and wishing you comfort and peace.

I knew John while he was a student at Pius though my most vivid memories come from the softball diamond. We played together for a number of years and John was the consummate teammate. He was always friendly and encouraging and it was clear that people were more important than the game. He will be greatly missed. Prayers and condolences from me, my family and the Pius XI community.

Marianne & Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family with the sudden passing of John. My memories of John and are ever so positive. What a kind individual who loved life and did with well with his short life. He is now at peace not only with our God but with his dad who he missed so much in his life. It is our faith that summons us to believe that John's "life is simply changed, not ended." I hold you in prayer.
In the Risen Christ,

My sincere condolences on your loss. As a student, John was smart and courteous. I enjoyed teaching him and others in your family. I also fondly remember seeing your family at mass, St. Aloysius.

John was my english teacher at MIAD almost twenty years ago now. He was the first person who really taught me to think, and he did so with humor, grace, keen insight, and friendliness. He was a pivotal figure in my life who I could never forget and I frequently appreciated the interest he took in me over the years as I know it changed me for the better. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I always hoped that someday I would be able to sit down and have another wonderful conversation with him.
