To Lindsey's family from Muskies South Milwaukee Tavern and Grill. Lindsey loved his newspaper. He would come and sit in the back area by the big picture window to read his paper and drink his beer. He has been missed for a while now. We are sorry to hear of his passing. We know that he is still in that big picture window keeping up on all the daily news. May God watch over you and Bless you all at this time and always.

Dear Steve, Karen, and Brutus, I was sorry to read about your father's passing. I don't know what to say except that I'm sure he loved you all very much. The paper said it was hospice-connected, but I hope he didn't suffer too much. I remember him best playing basketball in the driveway and his boat he kept in the garage. He seemed more active than the standard neighborhood dad. There aren't too many people around from when you lived on 157th. Mr. and Mrs. Heinz both died recently(?) and one of the sons too. Another one of them lives there, but again I don't know which one. Also, Mrs. Bubenik still lives to the north of Mom. Mrs. Byrge is still going strong--lives in an apartment on National east of Sunny Slope. They're still close. I wouldn't have known about your dad except I was at Mom's--still the same house!-- and she gets the Sunday paper. How is your mom? Dad died May 22, 2002, so it's been a while. It gets easier, and many good memories continue to surface. We saw two older sisters of his Saturday. One's in a nursing home up north and one lives in Denver near her 2 kids. They shared some stories from the forties when my dad helped out a different uncle in his probable organized crime activities. I live and teach in Racine--since 1979, in fact. Can I write more later? Once again, sorry for your loss.
