Marjorie Ann Thompson Notice
Thompson, Marjorie Ann (Nee Morgan) Of Townsend, Wisconsin, upon her wishes, donated her body to the Medical College of Wisconsin on Saturday, March 9, 2013. She died peacefully surrounded by her husband, Mort of fifty years and her four children Charlene (Richard), Tracy, John (Catherine) and Bridget (Scott). Her greatest joy came from her 7 grandchildren Madeline, Abraham, Meredith, Emmet, Liam, Anna, and Hadley. Marge was blessed with two extraordinary sisters, Nancy (Bob) and Morgan (Bob) and an abundant and ever-growing Thompson family. Her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, countless number of nieces and nephews made her life rich with family. And her friends, whether from childhood or thereafter, were many some of them inseparable, all of them gems. Marjorie met her husband while attending Marquette University where she found her passion in taking care of others. This passion allowed her to enjoy a long and rewarding career as a Physical Therapist. Referred to as Marge or Margie by those who loved her, she was selfless in demeanor and always thought of others first. She was known to have an infectious smile, a way with words, and a knack for being thrifty. Whether you knew her well or knew her little, Marge was said to be the sweetest woman ever met. Forever the apple of our eye and the light of our life, Marge made the world a far better place just by being in it. Please join us in the celebration of Marjorie Ann Thompson's life on April 20, 2013, 1PM, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 12130 W. Center St., Wauwatosa, WI 53222. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or Goodwill Industries would be Marge and her families wish.
