Milton Rickun Notice
Rickun, Milton Born December 17, 1926, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at age 85 on December 7, 2012, Pearl Harbor Day. A Marine Corps World War II veteran and professional boxer, he has joined his loving wife and B'Shert Florene (nee Margolis) and beloved young son Timmy. Milt is further survived by his brother Joe Rickun (the late Ruth) and his sister Bev Aaron (Marv), sister-in-law Shirley Gold (the late Marty) and brother-in-law Daniel Margolis (the late Reva). He will never be forgotten by his children Marcie Rickun, Lainey Rutberg (the late Mark), Lolly Rickun and Artie Rickun (Lynda). Adored "Papa" of grandchildren Allison Rutberg, Andrew Rutberg, Noah Rickun (Marina), Ben Rickun (Katie) and Josh Rickun; special great-grandchildren Zoe and Jordan Rickun; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Charles and Rose (nee Berland) Rickun; sister Bert (Larry) Segal and brother Jack Rickun (Norma). We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Kenneth Phillips, Dr. Sanjay Deshpande and Dr. Oksana Strunetz for the many years of their compassionate care. Thank you Lolly for all of your love and devotion in taking care of Dad. Milt was a true gentleman and loved by all. If so desired contributions can be made to Congregation Shalom Camp Scholarship Fund. Funeral services will take place (TODAY) Tuesday, December 11, 2012, at 1:30 PM, at Congregation Shalom, 7630 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point, WI 53217. Interment Mound Zion Cemetery, 14510 W. North Ave., Brookfield. Shiva (TODAY) 5:00 PM at Congregation Shalom.
