Roger J. Hanson Notice
Hanson, Roger J. Of Germantown. Passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2013, following a longtime illness of multiple strokes and lung cancer at Cedar Springs Health and Rehab in Cedarburg at the age of 64 years. Best friend and husband of Gail (nee Graczyk) for 28 years. Loving brother of Joanne (Patrick) Shallow, Mike, Ron, and Patricia Hanson. Beloved son-in-law of Matthew and Jenny Graczyk. Dear brother-in-law of Stan and Tony (Connie) Graczyk. He will be deeply missed by his cats Agatha and Christie. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Bette (nee Hawkey) Hanson, brother Jimmy, nephew Michael Shallow, and niece Michelle Shallow Boyd. Roger was a proud Army veteran that served from 1965-1970. He was a member of American Legion Post #0280 in Coleman, WI. After serving in the Army, Roger worked his whole life in the transportation industry. Visitation on Sunday, February 24, at the FUNERAL HOME from 11:00AM until the Time of Celebration at 12:30 PM. Roger's wife would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. Debbie Tanner from Kathy House for her exceptional hospice care and friendship.
