Roger Reinemann Obituary

Reinemann, Roger T. Born to Eternal Life April 4, 2012, at the age of 77. Beloved husband and best friend of Karen (nee LeRoy) Loving Father of John (Sarah), Joseph (Molly), Ann (Christopher) Glutch and Lynn (Scott) Drenner. Proud papa of Clare Gultch. Dear brother of Dr. John (Joan) Reinemann, Glenn (the late Joyce), the late Floyd (the late Patsy) and Judith Vreeke. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held Monday April 9, 2012 from 10 AM until Time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM at Lumen Christi Catholic Church (138 W. Buntrock Ave., Thiensville). Interment at Resurrection Cemetery at 2:30 PM. Roger was employed in management with the Wisconsin Telephone Company for 31 years and was a resident of Mequon for 39 years. He was a City of Mequon Citizen of the Year, a charter member of the Mequon-Thiensville Sunrise Rotary Club, an alderman in Mequon, and a member of the Parish Council at St. Cecilia Parish in Thiensville (now Lumen Christi Parish). He was active in a number of community groups and projects including Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ozaukee County and the creation of the Rotary Riverwalk and Rotary Park. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and card player. The family wishes to thank the many friends, community members and healthcare professionals who have assisted Roger and the Reinemanns during the last several years. Memorial Donations can be made in Roger's name to a charity of your choice.

Roger and I started at Wisconsin Telephone the same day and we served the company for over thirty years in various departments. He was a good friend there and in Mequon. Ann Marie and I will remember the good years together.

Our prayers and thoughts are with the Reinemann family. We know Roger through his great work as a volunteer with Gathering on the Green and his work on the Gathering on the Green Board. He was always there to help and support everyone. We will miss him.
