Dolphin, Robert W. Of Menomonee Falls. Wednesday, February 19, 2014, age 98 years. Born November 14, 1915 in Mifflin, WI. Robert is reunited with his beloved wife of over 61 years, Freda Mae (nee Hunzinger). Survived by his loving children, Claudia (Rick Anton) Dolphin, Robert F. (Karen), Charles, Laura, Gerald (Glenda) and Gregory Dolphin. Proud grandpa of Michael (Kristin), Samuel Dolphin, Karlee Koehler, Kathleen, and Jessica Egan. Great-grandfather of Elle. Brother-in-law of Judith (Ken) Trudeau and James McDonough. Preceded in death by his parents, William R. Dolphin and Gladys (nee Watson) Dolphin and his brothers Harold (the late Catherine), John "Jack" (the late Katherine "Kitty") Dolphin and his sister Marabelle (the late Gordon) Schallock. Further survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Masonic Service Monday, Feb. 24 at 7 PM at the Funeral Home, under the auspices of Myron Reed Lodge #297, F&AM. Visitation Monday from 4 PM until time of the service. Entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park. Bob served in the United States Navy reserve as a motor machinist 2nd Class during World War II. He was in the Amphibious Corps (Landing Craft) and attached to the 5th Marines. He was discharged in 1946. He was an inspector with Allis-Chalmers Tractor Division in Milwaukee, WI for nearly 40 years and retired in 1975. He was a member and former president of the Butler Lions Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the , in Robert's name, would be appreciated.
