Robert D. Zens Notice
Zens, Robert D. Entered Eternal Life on March 12, 2014, at the age of 92. Longtime resident of Brookfield. Beloved husband of the late Patricia (nee Martin) Zens. Loving father of Michael (Judy) Zens, Julie Zens, Martin Zens, and Jean (Bob) Dreblow. Proud grandfather of Alexandra, Lauren, Henry, Jacqueline, Michael and Victoria. Dear brother of Arthur (Dottie) Zens, Via (Al) Rancotti and of the late Willard (Janice) Zens. Further survived by other relatives and good friends. Devoted father since passing of Patricia, 1972 from cancer. Marquette University graduate, United States Navy Veteran serving in Guadalcanal and Navy Choir with training at Great Lakes Station. Life time member of the American Casting Association with first tournament win 1937, Fly Accuracy. Life time member of National Skeet Shooting Association, Trout Unlimited, Waders of the Wolf, Chevy Car Club of America, Gesu Church, Milwaukee Athletic Club, avid muskie fisherman and National Account Representative for Inland Container Corporation. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 21, from 9:30 - 11:00 AM at Gesu Catholic Church, W. Wisconsin Avenue at North 12th Street, Milwaukee, followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be private for the family. Memorials in Robert's name may be made to The , Wisconsin Region, P.O.
